Los Angeles Galaxy celebrity midfielder and designated player David Beckham is listed at $5,500,000.08 in base salary with $6,500,000.04 in guaranteed compensation. His teammate, forward Landon Donovan makes $900,000 in base salary and his guaranteed compensation is the same.
Houston Dynamo midfielder, Scarborough, Ont., native Dwayne De Rosario will earn $324,999.96 in base salary and that is his guaranteed compensation.
Young striker Jozy Altidore of the New York Red Bulls makes $105,000 in base salary and that reaches $128,333 in guaranteed compensation.
Teammate Juan Pablo Angel, the Red Bulls designated player, makes $1.5-million in base and that becomes $1,593,750 in guaranteed pay. The Red Bulls other designated player, Claudio Reyna, makes $1,015,000 in base and it reaches $1,265,000 in guaranteed pay.
Chicago Fire designated player Cuauhtemoc Blanco is paid $2,492,316 in base salary and his guaranteed compensation is $2,666,778.
TFC's highest paid player on the list is midfielder Carl Robinson who gets $315,000 in base salary and $330.000 in guarantee compensation.
Midfielder Laurent Robert who was signed this week by TFC is not on the list. His contract is unguaranteed, which means he could be released at any time.
